The Illinois Firefighters Association genuinely believes that education of our firefighters is the most important item on our agenda to do our part to protect our firefighters today. Education is the primary tool that can be utilized by each and every firefighter in Illinois to make sure that they are working as safely as humanly possible in the extreme environments that they encounter on a daily basis somewhere in this state.
We provide for opportunities in education so that we can assist them in returning home after every call and shift.
How do we do this?
1) Through the Illinois Firefighters Association Foundation.
2) With Tax Deductible donations from you our friends and benefactors in the general public that count on our firefighters to be there for you when you need them.
3) In partnership with one of the most respected Fire Service educators in the U. S., The Illinois Fire Services Institute, located on the University of Illinois campus in Champaign, Illinois.
4) By networking with other fire service organizations in Illinois and across the United States in pursuit of the latest opportunities for additional educational information and media that give our firefighters even more of a fighting chance to make it home safely every time.....
5) By making sure that every dollar that is donated is stretched as much as possible to provide the most good for the firefighters of our organization in this state.
6) Your donations stay right here in Illinois to support our efforts to support our firefighters.
